• Discipleship
    The Kanakuk Link Year is committed to investing into the lives of the students. Our full time staff and interns are dedicated to pouring into the lives of each student. LinkYear staff provide a sounding board as we listen and walk through a year of life with our students. The members of our staff are available to our students every waking hour, where we will discuss questions, concerns, life difficulties, and academics.
  • Gospel Communities
    Each student is placed in a small group where they will dive deeper into the Gospel, face accountability, and find an avenue where they can be transparent, real, and vulnerable. These groups meet on Friday mornings every week.
  • Housing
    The Link Year students live at Kanakuk's K-Kauai facility and every student will have at least one roommate. Access to the dining hall, classrooms, study lounge, work-out facilities, and game rooms are all within walking distance.
  • Physical Activity
    Our schedule is built so that each student is able to meet our requirement to engage in some type of physical activity five times a week. From going on a walk to lifting weights we want to strongly encourage our students to take care of their physical bodies as well as their spiritual bodies.
  • Retreats
    One weekend a month students experience retreats, camping, competitions, movies as a group, team building activities, and service projects. All of these actitivities are created with the focus in mind to build community, relationships, and camaraderie amongst the students and Link Year Staff.
  • Study Hall
    All of our students have access to a study lounge every evening from 7pm until 11pm. We strongly encourage our students to stay on top of their academics by using this study hall option.
  • Worship Team
    We look for students every year who are passionate about leading Worship. We believe in giving our students every opportunity to lead, and Worship is one of those areas where this will be available.
  • Athletics and Sports
    Link Year Students have the opportunity to play in Branson Recreational Leagues of any sport of their choosing. The Link Year also organizes Sport competitions amongst the student body throughout the year. Students will also have access to a basketball gym, volleyball courts, tennis courts, and soccer fields everyday.

Campus Life

Kanakuk LinkYear is all about community. Our heartbeat is that our students pour into each other as they themselves are poured into by us. The LinkYear students will have ample opportunities to engage in an array of activities while living in the Ozarks, from caving to fishing, hiking to exploring, and traveling both locally and globally. There is never a shortage of new things to do while living in the Ozarks. Our campus provides all the elements needed for students to maintain healthy minds and bodies. From sports and recreation, fitness and games, study and reflecting - we have community spaces that are designed with your needs in mind.
